Norman Daoust performed with the Portland Symphony Orchestra in their performances of George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" on October 21-22, 2006 for the Masters of Swing concert, playing the not so frequently heard banjo part.

Norman Daoust recently accompanied Tommy Tune, the dancer, actor, vocalist, and director, in his Boston area appearance. Mr. Tune performed a weekend show entitled "Tuning-Up" with the Manhattan Rhythm Kings. Norman played guitar and banjo in the sixteen piece orchestra that accompanied the show.
