Hot Spot Productions
presents an evening of song, dance, fun, and music featuring the Eastwood Theatre Orchestra
Norman is a multi-instrumentalist and orchestra leader. For this show he performs on guitar, banjo, and bass, leaving his mandolin at home. Norman has accompanied nationally acclaimed artists including Bob Eberle, Anna Maria Albergetti (star in the original “West Side Story”), Al Martino, Marvin Hamlisch, and Tommy Tune. In addition to performing, he has contracted orchestras of up to 20-pieces to accompany internationally known entertainers including Carol Channing, Mickey Rooney and Donald O’Connor, and Wayne Newton. He has collaborated with the show's producer and director, Rob Bezubka, for more than twenty years. Joe maintains a busy schedule working on theatre productions as a music director, arranger, composer and pianist. He has worked as a music director and/or pianist for a wide range of theatre productions including: Beauty and the Beast, Bye Bye Birdie, Grease, Cinderella, Just So, Let’s Get Married, A Life Examined, Peter Pan, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oliver, Over the River, Peter Pan, A Secret Garden and Seussical. Joe has collaborated on projects with the Riverside Theatre, the Watertown Children’s Theatre, the Belmont Dramatic Club, All About Us Theatre, the Revels, the Mystic Chorale, Mass Theatrica, The Stoneham Theatre, and others. Corey is a multi-instrumentalist, teaches in the Boston Public Schools, and is on the faculty at the Brookline Music School. He has performed with a diverse group of stars including Ray Charles, Michael Brecker, Tom Harrell, Conrad Herwig, Paquito D'Rivera, and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Corey toured all fifty states and numerous countries during his two and a half years as a member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
Joe's masters degree in music performance from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell may be what allows him to read the challenging drum parts with ease. In addition to being a busy freelance drummer and percussionist throughout the New England area, Joe has been a show drummer at Busch Gardens in Virginia and on numerous cruise ships for both the Costa and Carnival cruise lines. As comfortable performing classical music as with all the numerous styles in this show, Joe has also toured with the American Wind Symphony Orchestra. |
